Satellite data distribution and acquisition support services by eoVision

The quick increase of the number of operating Earth observation satellites providing a wide variety of different data types has made the selection and acquisition of the data best suited for a specific task a complex matter. Based on a long practical experience in this field the eoVision team provides support in the selection of the optimal data type and data provider, acquires the data for you and makes sure that the quality of the data meets your requirements.

Among the large number of Earth observation satellite systems the following are important examples:

  • Landsat (MSS, TM and ETM; ground resolution between 15 and 80 m per pixel)
  • SPOT (Pan, XS, XI; 2.5 – 20 m)
  • IRS (Pan, LISS; 5 – 20 m)
  • IKONOS (Pan, multispectral; 1 – 4 m)
  • Quickbird (Pan, multispectral; 0.6 – 2.4 m)
  • TerraSAR-X (Radar system; down to 1 m)
  • Radarsat (Radar system; 10 m)
  • ERS (Radar system; 15 m)

In the near future numerous additional satellite systems will provide interesting data, such as RapidEye or GeoEye (with a ground resolution down to 40 cm per pixel!).
