G2Real - Galileo based real-time support for security and rescue forces

The aim of G2Real is to develop and test new pre-operational GMES services through the integration of software and hardware developments for the Galileo navigation system in the fields of:

• Emergency management
• Disaster management
• Rescue operations

G2Real is an ERA STAR Regions project, supported by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT). Aside of Austria, partners from Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic participate in the project.
Within G2Real eoVision is responsible for providing geodata via a geodata server. The data consists mainly of satellite and aerial data including information derived thereof.
